Asimismo, este plan subraya la importancia de combatir riesgos y amenazas en dos sectores estrat\u00e9gicos donde se enmarca CIOMET: <strong>sanidad<\/strong> y <strong>ciberseguridad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La sanidad ha estado bajo una enorme presi\u00f3n debido al COVID-19. Las innovaciones digitales han sido fundamentales para la notificaci\u00f3n \u00e1gil de casos y las campa\u00f1as de vacunaci\u00f3n, aunque tambi\u00e9n han expuesto al sector a un aumento de los ciberataques. Seg\u00fan la Agencia de Ciberseguridad de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (ENISA), los ataques a hospitales y redes sanitarias crecieron aproximadamente un 50% durante la pandemia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El proyecto CIOMET busca aumentar la ciberseguridad en el <strong>Internet de las Cosas M\u00e9dicas (IoMT)<\/strong>, permitiendo avanzar en la digitalizaci\u00f3n de los servicios de salud, mejorar la calidad del diagn\u00f3stico y la atenci\u00f3n, y reducir al m\u00e1ximo los riesgos de amenazas cibern\u00e9ticas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los ciberataques en el entorno sanitario afectan a cuatro dimensiones clave: <strong>seguridad, eficiencia, reputaci\u00f3n y finanzas<\/strong>. Su mitigaci\u00f3n es compleja debido a la diversidad de elementos que componen estas infraestructuras: plataformas hardware, software, sistemas operativos, dispositivos conectados y redes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s, CIOMET considera particularidades como que el 73% de los proveedores de salud utilizan sistemas operativos obsoletos que no pueden actualizarse. Entre un 25% y 40% ofrece servicios de telemedicina, lo cual incrementa los riesgos. Incluso la FDA ha advertido sobre dispositivos vulnerables como los marcapasos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Por otro lado, la Estrategia Nacional destaca el potencial estrat\u00e9gico de la <strong>inteligencia artificial<\/strong> (IA).
